Austin, Texas

Y’all can’t go to Texas and not get a pair of cowboy boots. Well, you can but what would be the fun in that? I am not really sure why I always land inside Allen Boots of Austin Texas when I am strolling Congress Ave. It’s just one of those groovy Texas boot stores with a few five-gallon hats and such. I spent some time living in Texas and Austin is hands down my favorite city in the big (BIG) state. There are a few things that are certain about Texans; they take their hats and their boots seriously, tacos are for breakfast, football is not just a sport it’s a serious family affair, and second amendment is a thing here. I have personally found that the manners are what I love most. Texans are a friendly group of people who say, “yes sir” and “yes ma’am”. This should be a thing everywhere in the United States (ahem… millennials I am looking at you.)  So why not put on a pair of good cowboy boots and drink your (sweet) tea when you’re here.
