BEGONIA

Im really going to do my best not to kill this plant. Covid has me wanting to nurture it and love every spot on it’s pretty little leaves. However since bringing it home from the plant shelter (it’s what I am calling the grocery store as I feel all the plants there should be rescued) I have noticed over a few weeks it isnt’ looking like its “thriving”. I feel it kind of looked around at it’s new home and said, “yeah, okay, well I think I am done now.” Regardless, it’s called an “angel wing begonia” so I am assuming that maybe just maybe it’s like an angel that will bring me good luck, after all I did rescue it. If you read this blog for care tips, I am sorry I dont have much for you. I can tell you they prefer moist soil but not soggy, and grow moderately quickly when kept out of direct sunlight but given just the right amount of bright light. (I know, when I read that light description I thought, well that plant sounds like a primadonna.
