I am a big fan of anything adult like in a nursery. If you happen to be one of those homes with peel and stick Disney characters as the decor for your nursery first, I want to apologize if offend you, second please read this post. When my sister announced baby number two was on the way it was exciting to think of how to repurpose the hand me down nursery furniture. I immediately wanted something big and funny and fell in love with the bubble gum blowing giraffe. It spun the idea for everything in the room, a touch of caramel color in the linens, and rugged natural textures in the furnishings. How do I all that inspiration from a giraffe? Well, it’s sort of abstract inspiration. But if you can find one piece of art that inspires you for a nursery place it over the peel and stick wall decals and go get yourself some sheets with a cool pattern on them from stores like Crate&Kids or Maisonette. They have trendier patterns and bedding collections to inspire the whole room.
