I love finding a good nursery, but the little plant shop around the corner is a very unappreciated thing. Years ago, I dreamed of opening a store for the “hostess”.  It would be a store with platters, candles, hors d’oeuvres, table decor, and plants/florals. Everything you need to make the visit to your home or someone else’s home easy and all in one stop. Then I realized, I would basically be opening a smaller version of The Fresh Market with a few more home decor items. It’s still not a bad idea but, in the meantime, back to the plant shop.  Along the river of Las Olas is a little plant shop I discovered today.  It was nestled in the corner of the Old RIverhouse Vegan Village restaurant. Which, p.s.: that’s a BOMB ASS restaurant delivered by Johnny NoBones you should check out while you are there.  The shop has some sweet little plants and terraniums.  After chatting with the shop owner, I learned she does a lot of larger plant installments and is a resource for designer planters and plants.  Cool vibes and a great find!
