Nestled into the south end of Charlotte, just outside the center of the city is Freedom Park. It’s loaded with things to do like trails, playgrounds, volleyball courts, the bandshell, and geese lots and lots of Canadian geese. Today, I am hitting the ground running on the paved trails. Never did I ever think I would say “yeah, let’s go get a run in at the park” but here I am. To put it simply, it’s a large park. Take the family, your little ones, or yourself and just enjoy some great outdoors. Trip advisor ranked this park #4 of 180 things to do in Charlotte, so it’s up there. That has to say something, right?
