Ok, I get it. Succulents are easy to care for, pretty cool looking, and full of varieties. I don’t know why I have such a hard time with them. On my detour through the garden department at Home Depot I spotted this tray of succulents. I was tempted to take one or ten home because “they are so cute” (said in my squeaky high voice) but I know I will kill it. Crazy right? I have gotten pretty good at this whole plant parent thing, but for some reason I kill succulents. I try to underwater, over nurture, and sweet talk them but they don’t last long. So I am stuck admiring yours and the trays of them in the garden centers that I don’t need to walking through because I forgot I actually came here for something practical, like a screw or paint or something. Ohhh… a pothos.
