Pumpkin Patch

Picking the perfect pumpkin is key in my household.  Each year I set out to find the one with the most unique shape, interesting color, or good shape.  Normally, for my dining table seasonal centerpiece decor.  This year I came across this lovely gem that has the dusty white skin and big deep grooves.

If you are following along on this blog you will know that most of the house is under a great deal of construction so my decorations are limited to my kitchen.   Over the weekend we were painting the driveway and had caution tape everywhere to prevent tires on wet paint.  I tried to convince Kevin to let me chalk outline his body on our front lawn but he didn’t find the humor in going that direction on Halloween.
